Cancellation & Refund Policy

This Cancellation & Refund Policy ("Policy") governs cancellations, refunds, reversals, disputes, chargebacks, and related matters concerning products and services offered by Rechargekit Fintech Private Limited ("Rechargekit ", "Company", "we", "our", or "us") through its website, applications, APIs, merchant platforms, dashboards, software solutions, and associated services (collectively, the "Platform").

By accessing or using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by this Policy, our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and any other applicable policies published by Rechargekit from time to time.

This Policy applies to all services provided through the Platform, including but not limited to:

Rechargekit operates primarily as a technology and service infrastructure provider. The actual processing of financial transactions may involve regulated banks, payment gateways, payment aggregators, telecom operators, government agencies, travel service providers, and other authorized partners. 3. Transaction Cancellation

3.1 Successfully Processed Transactions

Once a transaction has been successfully processed, completed, or confirmed by the relevant operator, bank, payment partner, government authority, merchant, or service provider, such transaction cannot ordinarily be cancelled, reversed, or refunded.

3.2 Pending or Incomplete Transactions

A transaction may be cancelled automatically where:

4. Mobile Recharge, DTH and Bill Payment Services

4.1 Successful Transactions

All successfully completed recharge and bill payment transactions, including but not limited to mobile recharge, DTH recharge, FASTag recharge, and utility bill payments, are final and non-refundable.

4.2 User Errors

Rechargekit shall not be responsible for losses arising from incorrect information submitted by users, including:

Transactions completed using incorrect information supplied by the user shall generally not qualify for refunds.

4.3 Failed Transactions

If an amount is debited but the corresponding recharge or payment is not completed, the transaction may be classified as failed after reconciliation with the relevant operator or payment partner. Eligible refunds shall be processed after verification and confirmation from the concerned service provider.

5. Payment Gateway, UPI Collection and Merchant Services

Refund requests relating to merchant collections, UPI payments, payment gateway transactions, QR collections, and related payment services shall be subject to:

Rechargekit may request supporting documents and transaction evidence before processing any refund request. Rechargekit reserves the right to reject refund requests where sufficient evidence is not provided.

7. Payouts, Fund Transfers and Remittance Services

Transactions involving payouts, bank transfers, remittances, settlements, or beneficiary payments that have been successfully processed to the intended recipient cannot ordinarily be cancelled or reversed. Refund requests for failed or incomplete transfers shall be processed only after verification and reconciliation with the relevant banking or payment partners.

Travel-related services including but not limited to:

shall be governed by the cancellation and refund policies of the respective travel service providers. Rechargekit acts solely as a technology facilitator and does not guarantee that travel service providers will approve cancellation or refund requests.

9. Duplicate Payments

Rechargekit may process refunds for duplicate payments after successful verification and reconciliation. Rechargekit reserves the right to request additional information, supporting documentation, and transaction evidence before approving any duplicate-payment refund request.

10. Failed or Rejected Transactions

Where a transaction fails, is rejected, or remains incomplete after funds have been debited from the user's account, refunds shall be initiated after confirmation from the relevant bank, payment gateway, payment processor, operator, government agency, or service provider. Refund processing times may vary depending upon reconciliation requirements and partner processing timelines.

To initiate a refund request, the Client must submit a written request via email to their designated Relationship Manager and mark a copy to [email protected], clearly providing the relevant transaction details and the reason for the refund request. Upon receipt, Rechargekit shall review, verify, and reconcile the request with the applicable banking partners, payment processors, operators, or service providers, as may be required. Subject to successful verification and approval, eligible refunds shall be processed and credited to the original payment method used for the transaction. Refund processing timelines may vary; however, in exceptional circumstances, processing may take up to 90 business days from the date of approval. Refunds shall not be issued in cash, transferred to third-party accounts, or paid through any alternative payment method unless required by applicable law or expressly approved by Rechargekit.
